ANIMAL SPONSORSHIP

When you sponsor an animal you will receive our sponsorship pack.

This includes:

* A certificate of sponsorship

* A species fact sheet

* A fact sheet about your sponsored animal

* A photo

* One free ticket to come and visit them at the centre

* A wooden plaque with your name on it at the animal's enclosure to thank you for sponsoring

(All sponsorship packs are sent via post)

By sponsoring an animal, you are helping us to provide a warm and safe home, a healthy diet and all the specialist equipment needed to care for your sponsored animal...THANK YOU!

Sponsorship prices vary depending on which species you would like to sponsor. Larger animals such as Meerkats, our Green Iguana, the Racoon dogs and our Boa constrictor are £40. The other animals sponsorship ranges in price from £25 - £40.

All sponsorships are for one year.

Fernvalley is a self-funded business. We do not receive any government funding or other external funding. Our funds are solely based on our entry fees and loyal visitors.

If you would like to make a monetary donation to the centre, then first of all Fernvalley would like to say a huge thank you! Our animals are rather costly to keep and require a huge amount of technical equipment but we love them all so they only get the very best!

All donation funds are put directly back into the centre. This means that you could help to buy a new play ball for our meerkats, or even an entire new housing unit for a new animal in need of a forever home.

If you do wish to make a donation we would love to thank you in person so coming to see us at the centre is the best way to do this!

If you would like to donate equipment (glass tanks, new tools e.g buckets and dustpans and brushes etc) they are greatly appreciated as it means we can help more animals and keep our residents happy. We cannot take everything due to spatial issues but if you think you have something that could help us give us a call or drop in, you can find all our details on our Contact Us' page.

VOLUNTEER

If you wish to discuss volunteering please get in touch via email fernvalleywildlifecentre@gmail.com  

The minimum age requirement is 18 years old. Please note that all those interested in volunteering will be expected to attend an interview and have a trial day followed by a probationary period. Training will be provided.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Work experience placements can be arranged. However, placement may not always be possible.
