NEW WINTER SPCIAL EVENT: THE SECRET LIFE OF AN ANIMAL CENTRE
Starting from 7th September, every Saturday at 11.30am we will be offering visitors a chance to discover the hidden secrets of a wildlife centre and learn about our animals real personalities from the Head Animal Keeper.
The tour lasts approximately one hour and stops at all of our animals enclosures where you will learn all about their stories, personalities and what life is like for them in the Pet Trade.
The Tour is included in your entry ticket price however any donations you wish to give are greatly appreciated and are put back into the work we do at the centre
Open to any age group although may be more suited to adults and older children.
Our Secret Life of a Wildlife Centre tours are pre-book only due to limited numbers so to book your place call us on 01856 751461 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve a place.
Get the chance to meet some of our animals up close and personal and learn more about their stories, habits, diet and quirks from their animal keeper.
This is an opportunity to ask any questions you may have about our animals and a great experience for children and adults alike to hold a snake or stroke a lizard.
Our handling sessions are included in your ticket price so just come along to take part.
Details and times of the day's meet and greet sessions are located in the Tearoom by the entry doors on the day of your visit.
Please note: Animals included on the day may vary as we rotate our handling animals in order to avoid them becoming stressed, allowing them well earned rest days!
Fernvalley Wildlife Centre reserve the right to cancel handling sessions at short notice and/or remove animals from handling sessions that are currently taking place.
Availible to book in advance with a minimum of 10 people. Tour will include an animal handling session.

Animal talks take place on a daily basis and can include handling sessions as mentioned above. Talks are usually species specific and will be located at that particular animals enclosure at an assigned time.
Come and learn more about our animals and where they come from in these informal educational talks where any questions you may have are most welcome!
Details of talks can be found on the board in the Tearoom by the entry doors and are often advertised by the enclosure on the day.
Just turn up to take part.
