Meet and Greet Sessions

Private Tours

Get the chance to meet some of our animals up close and personal and learn more about their stories, habits, diet and quirks from their animal keeper.

This is an opportunity to ask any questions you may have about our animals and a great experience for children and adults alike to touch a snake or stroke a lizard.

Our talks are included in your ticket price so just come along to take part.

Details and times of the day's meet and greet sessions are located in the Tearoom by the entry doors on the day of your visit.

Meet and greets usually take place between 1.30 and 1.45 every day.

Please note: Animals included on the day may vary as we rotate our handling animals in order to avoid them becoming stressed, allowing them well earned rest days!

Fernvalley Wildlife Centre reserve the right to cancel meet and greet sessions at short notice and/or remove animals from sessions that are currently taking place.

Animal talks take place on a daily basis. Talks are usually species specific and will be located at that particular animals enclosure at an assigned time. There are usually three talks which take place at 11.30am, 1.45pm and 2.30pm every day.

Come and learn more about our animals and where they come from in these informal educational talks where any questions you may have are most welcome!

Details of talks can be found on the board in the Tearoom by the entry doors and at the top of the stairs as you enter our animal centre.

Just turn up to take part.

Fernvalley Wildlife Centre reserve the right to cancel talks at short notice and/or remove animals from meet and greet sessions that are currently taking place.
