At Fernvalley we offer the opportunity for students and teachers to interact with various aspects of their school curriculum on a whole new level.All the activities below are also availible for group bookings (Minimum 10, maximum 25 for schools and groups)
Visits to the centre can be tailored to a specific topic of choice or can cover a broad range of subjects that can be personalised depending upon the age of the children attending.
We can cover various topics to suit your needs, these can include:
* Rainforests - animals, plants, uses and threats etc
* Deserts - life that inhabits these harsh enviroments
*Keeping our oceans clean and beach clean up
We can also offer activities for the day of your visit to compliment your topic such as
*Colouring and drawing activities
* Animal quiz sheets, Interactive habitat and food chain games
*Find the Fact - an interactive quiz sheet that encourages children to search the centre and read information signs to collect data.
Each school/group visit will include a private tour by an animal keeper with an animal meet and greet session and a question and answer session with the keeper.
Our education centre will be privately available for your visit.
